Jacqueline Smart

I prefer to be called Jacquie.  I studied Holistic treatments after supporting my son through a traumatic RTA head injury and rehabilitation process.  I offer Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Swedish massage, Hot Stone Therapy and Holistic Facials.

My first career choice was book-keeping and accountancy. I enjoyed it and progressed to accountants assistant when I stopped to have my family. In the children’s later years I have worked for a funeral director, home care assistant, school parent Governor, and run mother/toddler groups.  I was a trustee/director for a charity that fed and supported children in a Ghana village.  This enabled me to visit the village and began the new direction of working with young people.

In February 2008, my eldest son, aged 16 was a passenger in car involved in a severe RTA and suffered a severe traumatic brain injury . I supported him throughout all stages of his rehabilitation.  It helped lead me to train as a Complementary therapist.  I feel it is the best decision I have ever taken.  My tutor was passionate about the subjects and I was enthralled from day one.

I am proud to say I received the award “Student of the Year”. A summary of my attendance, work input, commitment to the course, and the personal journey I travelled on whilst studying.

I aim to give my clients the greatest benefits from the treatments, and adapt each treatment according to their needs. I receive the greatest pleasure to hear a client state they feel better. I believe complementary therapies can improve anyone’s quality of life. To achieve a person feeling better feels like a wonderful gift
